


NSW Revenue / DCJ Work & Development Order EASY REFERRAL
Work and Development Orders (WDO) are available in New South Wales (NSW) for people experiencing financial hardship to support people in the community who can’t pay their fines to clear their debt and start fresh through NSW Dept Communities and Justice; NSW Legal Aid; NSW Revenue.
The WDO scheme enables eligible people who are experiencing hardship to reduce their fines through participation in unpaid work, courses, treatment, programs, and other activities. People who are eligible for the WDO scheme include those who maybe experiencing one of the following:

Mental illness,

Intellectual disability or cognitive impairment,

Serious addiction to drugs, alcohol or volatile substances,

Homelessness,
-
Acute economic hardship
-
In receipt of a Centrelink benefit or receive a low income
-
Under the age of 18
